A Little Bit of the Infinite

Using the painting tools in a bitmap program, I have created the geometric configurations seen here. Unlike Photoshop, there is no layering. As forms are added, the underlying ones disappear; on the print, the only remnant of this process lies in the numerical sum handwritten in the lower lefthand corner, which is the title, and the result of counting each simulated 3-D form as I constructed it. Contrary to computer logic, the resulting sum is unverifiable since it includes forms that never had physical existence but were instrumental in creating each pattern.
